Isabel was born about 1285 in Loughborough, Leicester, England.  Isabel's father was Earl Hugh ("the Elder") de Spencer III of Winchester and her mother was Countess Isabel de Beauchamp of Winchester.  Her paternal grandfather was Hugh de Spencer II and her paternal grandmother is Aline Aliva Basset; her maternal grandparents were Earl William de Beauchamp of Warwick and Maud FitzJohn. She had two brothers named Hugh and Philip.  She was the oldest of the three children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Walter and Maud.  She died on December 4th, 1334.

‌Isabel and John were married in a religious ceremony about 1308 in England.  They had a son named Hugh.


Isabel's second family with Earl Richard ("Copped Hat") FitzAlan of Arundel

‌Isabel and "Copped Hat" were married in a religious ceremony in Kings Chapel, Havering-Bower, Essex, England.  They had a daughter named Mary.
