Robert Stringer Braswell 
Robert Stringer was born on March 8th, 1836 in Edgecombe Co. NC. Robert Stringer's father was Robert Russell Braswell and his mother was Anselina Stringer. His paternal grandfather was Permentor Braswell; his maternal grandparents were William Stringer and Keziah Pitt. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Joseph James, Benjamin Guilford, Thomas Permenter, John Daniel, Keziah Margaret, Elizabeth Catherine, Arretta and Anselina Jane "Lanie". He was the third youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 27 in 1863.General Notes

‌Robert Stringer and Martha Ann Charity were married in a religious ceremony on April 1st, 1858. They had a son and a daughter, named Callie Berry and Sarah Martha.
