Anselina Stringer 
Anselina was born on February 15th, 1800 in Edgecombe Co. NC. Anselina's father was William Stringer and her mother was Keziah Pitt. Her maternal grandparents were Robert Pitt and Mary Bridger. She had a sister named Sarah "Sally". She was the younger of the two children. She died at the age of 81 on April 28th, 1881 in Edgecombe Co. NC.
Anselina and Robert Russell were married in a religious ceremony on December 4th, 1823 in Edgecombe Co. NC. They had five sons and four daughters, named Joseph James, Benjamin Guilford, Thomas Permenter, Robert Stringer, John Daniel, Keziah Margaret, Elizabeth Catherine, Arretta and Anselina Jane "Lanie".

Anselina Jane "Lanie" Braswell
Anselina Jane "Lanie" was born on January 9th, 1842 in Edgecombe Co. NC. She died at the age of 76 on May 14th, 1918.
John Daniel Braswell
John Daniel was born on February 17th, 1844 in Edgecombe Co. NC. He died at the age of 31 on June 29th, 1875.
