Anselina Jane "Lanie" Braswell 
Anselina Jane "Lanie" was born on January 9th, 1842 in Edgecombe Co. NC. Anselina Jane "Lanie"'s father was Robert Russell Braswell and her mother was Anselina Stringer. Her paternal grandfather was Permentor Braswell; her maternal grandparents were William Stringer and Keziah Pitt. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Joseph James, Benjamin Guilford, Thomas Permenter, Robert Stringer, John Daniel, Keziah Margaret, Elizabeth Catherine and Arretta. She was the second youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 76 on May 14th, 1918.-
