Benjamin Guilford Braswell 
Benjamin Guilford was born on January 1st, 1827 in Halifax Co., NC. Benjamin Guilford's father was Robert Russell Braswell and his mother was Anselina Stringer. His paternal grandfather was Permentor Braswell; his maternal grandparents were William Stringer and Keziah Pitt. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Joseph James, Thomas Permenter, Robert Stringer, John Daniel, Keziah Margaret, Elizabeth Catherine, Arretta and Anselina Jane "Lanie".
