Jean was born about 1350 in of Dundonald,Ayrshire,Scotland.  Jean's father was Robert II Scotland King and her mother was Elizabeth More Queen of Scotland.  Her paternal grandparents were Walter High Steward Scotland and Marjorie Princess of Scotland; her maternal grandparents were Sir Adam Mure Of Rowallan and Janet Mure. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Robert III (Robert John STEWART) King, Walter, Robert, Alexander, Marjorie, Elizabeth and Isabel Eupheme.  She was the second youngest of the eight children. She had three half-sisters named Katherine (Eliz), Catherine (Jean) Princess and Egidia.  She was buried in Scone Abbey,Scone,Perthshire,Scotland.
