Phyllis Spradley 
Phyllis was born on September 4th, 1914 in Pike Co., AL.1 Phyllis' father was Ray Rushton Spradley and her mother was Mary Wilson. Her paternal grandparents were Charles Thomas Spradley and Ida Lizzie Rushing; her maternal grandparents were James Bennett Wilson and Florence Brannon Paullin. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Rush Ray, Joseph Paullyn, Rebecca and Mary. She was the oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 84 on February 24th, 1999 in Troy, Pike Co., AL. She was buried on February 26th, 1999 in Green Hills Memorial Park, Troy, Pike Co., AL.1 1 General Notes

"GRIER, Phyllis Spradley, 84, a resident of Troy, AL, died Wednesday,
February 24, 1999 in Pike Manor Health Care Center. She was a retired
school teacher having taught in Georgia, Alabama and California.
Graveside services will be held at Green Hills Cemetery, Troy, AL on
Friday February 26, 1999 beginning at 3:00 p.m. with Reverend Frank
Nilhart officiating. Survivors include sisters and brothers, Rush R.
Spradley, Dayton, OH, Rebecca S. Furlow, Daytona Beach, FL, Mary S.
Terry, Lake Mary, FL and Joseph P. Spradley, Glen Ellyn, IL and several
nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to the First
Baptist Church of Troy Building Fund." (1)
