On 15 May 1837 Elias Jenerett signed for the purchase of 79.25 acres in
Bullock Co., AL. The legal land descriptions: Nr. 1; Allquot Parts:
NESW; Sec/Blk: 15; Township: 12-N; Range: 23-E; Fract. Sect.: N;
Meridian: St. Stephens Meridian; Acres: 79.25; and County: Bullock. The
land office was Cahaba.
Not mentioned in his father's will of 11 Oct 1824.
He and his family settled in Pike Co., AL where his last 6 children were
born. In the 1840 through 1870 Pike Co. AL Censuses, the surname was
spelled as "Ginright" and "Jenrett". In their family Bible, it is spelled
"Jenerett".

E.H. Rushing and minors Elias F. Jenerett, Josephine A. and Julia A.,
all of Pike County. Heirs listed by Anna Eliza Jenerett on May l2,
l873...heirs of Chrystilla or Cristall, wife of Henry Stevenson, to wit,
Elias F. Stevenson, minor, Pike County and John H., Eliza and Jefferson
Davis Stevenson, under 2l and with their father Henry Stevenson(sic) in
TX (they were previously in Bullock County, Albama.)
