Elizabeth's father was Elias Jeanerette and her mother was Nancy (?). She had a brother and three sisters, named John William, Sarah, Mary and Nancy. She had seven half-brothers and six half-sisters, named Issac G., Joseph, William, Elias G., James, Peter Poitevint, Samuel Thomas, Marthy, Margaret Emily, Catherine, Susan, Luesah and Amelia Carlene.
