Antoine Poitevin arrived in England from France on 16 October 1681. They
lived in the area of Threadneedle Street, London. The family came to
America in 1685 and settled in the Orange Quarter near Charles Towne.

Antoine and Gabrielle were married in a religious ceremony in France.1 They had two sons and a daughter, named Antoine, Jr., Pierre and Ann.
