Mamie Eudora was born on February 4th, 1890 in Coffee Co., AL.1 Mamie Eudora's father was John MacDonald Rushing and her mother was Eudora A. Simpler. Her paternal grandparents were Mathew M. (Mack) Rushing and Sarah Jane Amerson. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Ronald Hubbard, Grover Cleveland, Rufus Sanders, Cecil Walter, Claudie Bell and Pearlie. She was the second oldest of the seven children. She had four half-brothers and four half-sisters, named George W., Edlow, Alto P., Alvie Roscoe, Lillie Mae, Sarah Ann, Mary Alice and Onvie Marion. She died at the age of 80 on August 7th, 1970 in Elba, Coffee Co., AL. She was buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Elba, Coffee Co., AL.1 1 General Notes
