Claudie Bell was born in August 1892 in Coffee Co., AL.1 Claudie Bell's father was John MacDonald Rushing and her mother was Eudora A. Simpler. Her paternal grandparents were Mathew M. (Mack) Rushing and Sarah Jane Amerson. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Ronald Hubbard, Grover Cleveland, Rufus Sanders, Cecil Walter, Mamie Eudora and Pearlie. She was the third oldest of the seven children. She had four half-brothers and four half-sisters, named George W., Edlow, Alto P., Alvie Roscoe, Lillie Mae, Sarah Ann, Mary Alice and Onvie Marion. She died in AL. She was buried in Zoar Cemetery, Coffee Co., AL..1 1 -
