Malinda Garrett

Malinda was born on November 22nd, 1819 in Warrior Creek, Laurens County, South Carolina.¹ Malinda's father was Stephen Garrett and her mother was Drucilla Elizabeth Putnam. Her paternal grandparents were Edward II Garrett and Ann West Ousley. She had two brothers and a sister, named Hollingsworth, John Harris and Mary. She was the second oldest of the four children. She died at the age of 51 in 1870 in Broomtown Valley, Chatooga. Georgia.¹
