Hollingsworth Martin 
Hollingsworth was born in 1839 in Laurens County, South Carolina.1 Hollingsworth's father was Glasinguin Martin and his mother was Malinda Garrett. His paternal grandparents were John Garrett Martin and Elizabeth ??; his maternal grandparents were Stephen Garrett and Drucilla Elizabeth Putnam. He had six brothers and four sisters, named John M., Milton, James Alexander, Christopher C., Joseph P., Stephen D., Florenthia, Sophia J., Lucinda E. and Sally. He was the second oldest of the eleven children.-
