Florenthia Martin

Florenthia was born about 1837.¹ Florenthia's father was Glasinguin Martin and her mother was Malinda Garrett. Her paternal grandparents were John Garrett Martin and Elizabeth ??; her maternal grandparents were Stephen Garrett and Drucilla Elizabeth Putnam. She had seven brothers and three sisters, named Hollingsworth, John M., Milton, James Alexander, Christopher C., Joseph P., Stephen D., Sophia J., Lucinda E. and Sally. She was the oldest of the eleven children.
