Glasinguin was born about 1810 in Warrior Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.1 Glasinguin's father was John Garrett Martin and his mother was Elizabeth ??. He was an only child. He died about 1864.1 
‌Glasinguin and Malinda were married in a religious ceremony about 1864.2 They had seven sons and four daughters, named Hollingsworth, John M., Milton, James Alexander, Christopher C., Joseph P., Stephen D., Florenthia, Sophia J., Lucinda E. and Sally.
