John Harris Garrett 
John Harris was born on July 20th, 1825 in Laurens County, South Carolina.1 John Harris' father was Stephen Garrett and his mother was Drucilla Elizabeth Putnam. His paternal grandparents were Edward II Garrett and Ann West Ousley. He had a brother and two sisters, named Hollingsworth, Mary and Malinda. He was the youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 59 on July 11th, 1885.1 -
