Foye Bridges 
Foye was born on July 15th, 1910 in Downsville, Union Parish, LA.1 Foye's father was John William Bridges and her mother was Stella Skains. Her paternal grandparents were William Bridges and Delila Jane Jacks; her maternal grandparents were Thomas A. Skains and Bertha Honeycutt. She had four brothers and six sisters, named Thomas Alvin, John William, Jr., Binford, Moody, Myrtle, Trudy S., Marzie Cordie, R. V., Neola Gray and Janie Ophilia. She was the sixth oldest of the eleven children. She had three half-brothers named Ocie Lafayette, Lonnie Howard and William Archie. She died at the age of 86 on September 22nd, 1996 in Downsville, Union Parish, LA. She was buried in Mt. Nebo Methodist Ch. Cemetery, north of Downsville, Union Parish, LA.1 1 -
