Ida OF LOUVAIN 
Ida's father was Duke/Count/ Henry OF BRABANT Henrik II and her mother was Adelaide OF THE BETUWE. Her paternal grandparents were Count/ Lambert I DE LOUVAIN II "The Belted" and Ode DE LORRAINE; her maternal grandfather was Count Eberhard OF THE BETUWE. She had two brothers and a sister, named Godfrey I "The Bearded" Of Brabant, Henry III and Matilda.General Notes
Credited with the first unification of the country, convertedthe Danes to Christianity, and conquered Norway. After hisBaptism his fathers pagan tomb was transformed into a Christianplace of worship.
Introduced Christianity into Denmark, he had the famous Jellingrune stone erected in his parent memory. He was fatally woundedduring a rebellion by his son and successor, Sveng I.
