Oda OF METZ was born in 0910. Oda OF METZ's father was Count Gerhard II Of Nieder Lahngau VON METZ and her mother was Uda OF SAXONY. She had a brother named Udo I Of Werner & Wingarteiba. She was the younger of the two children. She died at the age of 53 in 0963.General Notes
Credited with the first unification of the country, convertedthe Danes to Christianity, and conquered Norway. After hisBaptism his fathers pagan tomb was transformed into a Christianplace of worship.
Introduced Christianity into Denmark, he had the famous Jellingrune stone erected in his parent memory. He was fatally woundedduring a rebellion by his son and successor, Sveng I.
