Her paternal grandparents were Count Wigeric Of Luxemburg VON AACHEN and Kunigunde DE FRANCIA; her maternal grandparents were Count Gerhard II Of Nieder Lahngau VON METZ and Uda OF SAXONY. She had two brothers named Godfrey "the Captive" and Heinrich DE VERDUN.General Notes
Credited with the first unification of the country, convertedthe Danes to Christianity, and conquered Norway. After hisBaptism his fathers pagan tomb was transformed into a Christianplace of worship.
Introduced Christianity into Denmark, he had the famous Jellingrune stone erected in his parent memory. He was fatally woundedduring a rebellion by his son and successor, Sveng I.
They had a daughter named Irmenrtrude.
