Gerhard II Of Nieder Lahngau was born in 0885. He died at the age of 25 in 0910 in Battle.General Notes
Credited with the first unification of the country, convertedthe Danes to Christianity, and conquered Norway. After hisBaptism his fathers pagan tomb was transformed into a Christianplace of worship.
Introduced Christianity into Denmark, he had the famous Jellingrune stone erected in his parent memory. He was fatally woundedduring a rebellion by his son and successor, Sveng I.
They had a son and a daughter, named Udo I Of Werner & Wingarteiba and Oda OF METZ.
