Pacneil was born in 1829 in Sumner Co., TN. Pacneil 's father was William Henry ANDERSON and his mother was Margaret "Peggy" PATTON. His paternal grandparents were Joseph ANDERSON and Mary ALBERTSON; his maternal grandparents were John Irwin . PATTON and Mary "Polly" WILSON. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Alfred Phillip, Albert Spencer "Bird", Patton, Samuel , James , John W. , Elizabeth, Mary , Rachael M and Margaret Rose. He was the fourth youngest of the eleven children. He died in 1829 in Sumner Co., TN.General Notes
