Alfred Phillip was born in 1813 in Davidson Co., TN . Alfred Phillip's father was William Henry ANDERSON and his mother was Margaret "Peggy" PATTON. His paternal grandparents were Joseph ANDERSON and Mary ALBERTSON; his maternal grandparents were John Irwin . PATTON and Mary "Polly" WILSON. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Albert Spencer "Bird", Patton, Samuel , James , Pacneil , John W. , Elizabeth, Mary , Rachael M and Margaret Rose. He was the oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 67 in June 1880 in Comfort, Marion Co., TN .General Notes
Comfort was called "Firey Gizzard" by the Indians.
