There is a map of early Perquimans, showing that Albert Albertson's land was right next door to Sarah Gosby, who in turn was next door to Hannah Gosby, both of whom received grants of land in 1694. This is consistent with the fact that his wife was Mary Gosby.
Will of Albert Albertson
The will of Albert Albertson was written on the 10th day of February 1701. In oldstyle dating 1702 didnt start until March.
In the Name Of God Amen. I Albert Albertson the Elder of the precinct of Perquimans in N. Carolina being in perfect health of body praysed be God, so considering that it is Appointed for all men once to die and being ........ of the time when it may Please God to take me out of this transitory life do make and ordaine this my Last will and testament in manner and forme following that is to Say .......: I give my soule to God who gave it and do ......... him for the merritorius death and pashion of Jesus Christ my blessed savior and redeemer to Pardon all my sins and I give my body to the earth.
Item: I give all that Plantation where it with all the land there unto belonging unto my loving Sons Peter and Nathaniel and their Heirs forever to be equally divided between them.
Item: I give unto my sons Peter and Nathaniel my mill and my mill horse called Jack.
Item: I give unto my son Peter a horse called Sparke and to my son Nathaniel a horse called Blaze.
Item: I give unto my son Albert Albertson Ten pounds Sterling to be paid to him out of the estate and a musquett and a wascoate that has Silver buttons ...... it.
Item: I give to my son Esau Albertson a mare fillie aged twelve months come next spring.
Item: I give unto my son Peters wife Ann a mare Colt that shall happen after this yeare ..first.
Item: I give to my son Albert Albertson the second Colt that shall happen after this yeare.

Albertson and Nathaniel three mares and a young horse to be equally divided among them.
Item: I give unto my wife the plantation I now live upon with all the cattle and hoggs belonging to it for her life time and after her decease it falls to my sons Peter and Nathaniel between them and I leave my sons Peter and Nathaniel to be my executors......... where I have to this my last will and testament set my hand and seale hereby revokeing all former and other wills by me here to fore made dated this tenth day of February Anno Domino one thousand seven hundred and one.
Written and witnessed by John Falconer. Also witnessed by Nathaniel Nicholson uncle of Abigail Nicholson who married Nathaniel Albertson son of Albert. Third witness Joseph Sutton.
Albert Albertson died February 28th 1701/1702.
This will was proved in court April 14th 1702.
