William Longespée of Earl of Salisbury 
William Longespée of was born in 1176 in Woodstock Manor.1 William Longespée of's father was Henry II Plantagenet de Anjou King of England and his mother was Ida (Isabel) Plantagenet. His paternal grandparents were Geoffrey V Plantagenet the Fair Ct de Anjou and Adelaide de Angers; his maternal grandparents were Hamelin Plantagenet de Anjou Earl of Surrey and Isabel de Warenne. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named John Lackland Plantagenet, Hugh le Bigod, Eleanor and Margaret. He died in Amesbury, Wiltshire, England.
