Simon de Montfort I sn de Montfort

Simon de Montfort I was born in 1025 in Montfort, Eure, France.¹   Simon de Montfort I's father was Amauri de Montfort I sn de Montfort and his mother was Bertrade de Gometz.  His paternal grandparents were William de Bastinbourg Ct de Hainault and Albreda de Esperon de Montfort; his maternal grandfather was Guillaume de Gometz.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 62 on September 25th, 1087 in St. Thomas, France.  He was buried in Buried at Epernon, Normandy..^1 1
