Henry "Wryneck" Plantagenet was born in 1281 in Grosment Castle, Monmouthshire, England.1 Henry "Wryneck" Plantagenet's father was Edmund Crouchback Earl of Leicester and his mother was Blanche Capet. His paternal grandparents were Henry III Plantagenet and Eleanor; his maternal grandparents were Robert Capet de Artois I Ct of Artois and Matilda de Brabant. He was an only child. He died at the age of 64 on September 22nd, 1345 in Leicester, England.1 General Notes
