Isaak II Angelus was born in 1155 in of Constantinople, Turkey.1 Isaak II Angelus' father was AndronikosAngelosDukas Angelos and his mother was Euphrosyne Kastamonitissa. His paternal grandparents were KonstantinosAngelosEmp of Angelos and Theodora Komnena; his maternal grandfather was Theodoros Kastamonites. He was an only child. He died at the age of 49 on April 12th, 1204 in Constantinople, Turkey.1 General Notes
