Solomon King Harris 
Solomon King was born on February 20th, 1867 in Beaverdam, Hanover Co., Virginia. Solomon King's father was George Washington Harris and his mother was Amazela Frances Sims. His maternal grandparents were Pettus Wayles Sims and Sally Thompson Kearsey. He had three brothers and nine sisters, named George William, James Berkley, Chastaine Pettus, Ida Irene, Sarah Jane, Arminta Elizabeth, Ann Rose, Mattie Lillian, Cora Elizabeth, Florence Amazella, Laura Mae and Mary Inez. He was the fourth oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 23 on July 25th, 1890 in Hanover Co., VA.-
