Stijntje Samuelsdr was born in September 1730 and her baptism took place on September 1st, 1730 in Harderwijk.1  Stijntje Samuelsdr's father was Samuel Baltuszn Schaftenaar and her mother was Harmpje Barentsdr N.N..  Her paternal grandparents were Balthasar Schaffner and Margaretha Mueller; her maternal grandparents were Berend Claeszn N.N. and Bijland Gijsbertsdr N.N.. She had four brothers and seven sisters, named Baltus, Berent, Bijland Samuelszn, Gijsebert, Aaltje, Sijbille, Barentijen, Anna Catharina, Anna Catharina, Steijntje Samuelsdr and Barentje.  She was the eighth oldest of the twelve children.  She died before December 14th, 1731.1
