Steijntje Samuelsdr was born in December 1731 and her baptism took place on December 14th, 1731 in Harderwijk.1  Steijntje Samuelsdr's father was Samuel Baltuszn Schaftenaar and her mother was Harmpje Barentsdr N.N..  Her paternal grandparents were Balthasar Schaffner and Margaretha Mueller; her maternal grandparents were Berend Claeszn N.N. and Bijland Gijsbertsdr N.N.. She had four brothers and seven sisters, named Baltus, Berent, Bijland Samuelszn, Gijsebert, Aaltje, Sijbille, Barentijen, Anna Catharina, Anna Catharina, Stijntje Samuelsdr and Barentje.  She was the nineth oldest of the twelve children.  She died at the age of 85 on December 27th, 1816 in Harderwijk.1
