Anna Catharina was born in February 1727 and her baptism took place on February 6th, 1727 in Harderwijk.1  Anna Catharina's father was Samuel Baltuszn Schaftenaar and her mother was Harmpje Barentsdr N.N..  Her paternal grandparents were Balthasar Schaffner and Margaretha Mueller; her maternal grandparents were Berend Claeszn N.N. and Bijland Gijsbertsdr N.N.. She had four brothers and seven sisters, named Baltus, Berent, Bijland Samuelszn, Gijsebert, Aaltje, Sijbille, Barentijen, Anna Catharina, Stijntje Samuelsdr, Steijntje Samuelsdr and Barentje.  She was the sixth oldest of the twelve children.  She died before October 10th, 1728.1
