Sijbille was born in July 1722 and her baptism took place on July 3rd, 1722 in Harderwijk.1  Sijbille's father was Samuel Baltuszn Schaftenaar and her mother was Harmpje Barentsdr N.N..  Her paternal grandparents were Balthasar Schaffner and Margaretha Mueller; her maternal grandparents were Berend Claeszn N.N. and Bijland Gijsbertsdr N.N.. She had four brothers and seven sisters, named Baltus, Berent, Bijland Samuelszn, Gijsebert, Aaltje, Barentijen, Anna Catharina, Anna Catharina, Stijntje Samuelsdr, Steijntje Samuelsdr and Barentje.  She was the third oldest of the twelve children.  She died at the age of 67 in June 1790.  The funeral took place on June 5th, 1790 in Harderwijk.2 2
