Anna Catharina was born in October 1728 and her baptism took place on October 10th, 1728 in Harderwijk.1  Anna Catharina's father was Samuel Baltuszn Schaftenaar and her mother was Harmpje Barentsdr N.N..  Her paternal grandparents were Balthasar Schaffner and Margaretha Mueller; her maternal grandparents were Berend Claeszn N.N. and Bijland Gijsbertsdr N.N.. She had four brothers and seven sisters, named Baltus, Berent, Bijland Samuelszn, Gijsebert, Aaltje, Sijbille, Barentijen, Anna Catharina, Stijntje Samuelsdr, Steijntje Samuelsdr and Barentje.  She was the seventh oldest of the twelve children.  She died at the age of 77 in November 1805.  The funeral took place on November 4th, 1805 in Harderwijk.1 1
