Jannigje was born in June 1758 in Kamerik and her baptism took place there on June 18th, 1758.1  Jannigje's father was Cornelis Pieterszn de Haan and her mother was Hilletje Jansdr van Vliet.  Her paternal grandparents were Pieter Corneliszn de Haan and Aagje Jansdr van Rossum; her maternal grandfather was Jan Hermenszn van Vliet and her maternal grandmother is Jannigje Willemsdr Bekker. She had four brothers and nine sisters, named Pieter, Jan, Tijmen, Hermannus, Aagje, Claartje, Marrigje, Neeltje Cornelisdr, Hanna, Grietje, Willemtje, Emmerensje and Elizabeth.  She was the second oldest of the fourteen children.  She died at the age of 21 on February 9th, 1780 in Kamerik.  The funeral took place on February 10th, 1780 in Kamerik.1 1
