Hanna was born in October 1767 in Kamerik and her baptism took place there on October 4th, 1767.1  Hanna's father was Cornelis Pieterszn de Haan and her mother was Hilletje Jansdr van Vliet.  Her paternal grandparents were Pieter Corneliszn de Haan and Aagje Jansdr van Rossum; her maternal grandfather was Jan Hermenszn van Vliet and her maternal grandmother is Jannigje Willemsdr Bekker. She had four brothers and nine sisters, named Pieter, Jan, Tijmen, Hermannus, Jannigje, Aagje, Claartje, Marrigje, Neeltje Cornelisdr, Grietje, Willemtje, Emmerensje and Elizabeth.  She was the seventh oldest of the fourteen children.  She died at the age of 61 on September 30th, 1829 in Kockengen.1
