Percival Walter Wootley

Percival was born in September 1890 in Bermondsey, Surrey.¹

Percival's father was James Wootley and his mother was Alice Benstead. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Wootley and Eliza Roft; his maternal grandparents were James Benstead and Ann Wisbeach. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Edwin, Sydney, Herbert, Maud, Florence, Lily and Winifred. He was the oldest of the eight children.
