Florence Ethel Wootley

Florence was born in March 1897 in Walthamstow, Essex.¹ Florence's father was James Wootley and her mother was Alice Benstead. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Wootley and Eliza Roft; her maternal grandparents were James Benstead and Ann Wisbeach. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Percival, Edwin, Sydney, Herbert, Maud, Lily and Winifred. She was the fourth youngest of the eight children.
