Mary Ann Turner

Mary was born in 1838 in Wilton, Wiltshire and her christening took place there on April 1st, 1838.¹

Mary's father was William Turner and her mother was Elizabeth Cannings. Her maternal grandparents were Thomas Cannings and Sarah Brown. She had a brother and five sisters, named Henry, Sarah, Caroline, Eliza, Emma and Harriet. She was the fourth oldest of the seven children.
