Hannah Horncastle

Hannah was born in September 1905 in Stepney, Middlesex.¹ Hannah's father was Thomas Horncastle and her mother was Mary Ann Clipson. Her paternal grandparents were James Raphael Horncastle and Maria Thompson. She had two brothers and six sisters, named Thomas, George, Mary, Eleanor, Violet, Catherine, Annie and Beatrice. She was the fifth oldest of the nine children.
