Annie Horncastle

Annie was born on September 18th, 1913 in Stepney, Middlesex.¹ Annie's father was Thomas Horncastle and her mother was Mary Ann Clipson. Her paternal grandparents were James Raphael Horncastle and Maria Thompson. She had two brothers and six sisters, named Thomas, George, Mary, Eleanor, Violet, Hannah, Catherine and Beatrice. She was the second youngest of the nine children.
