Thomas Horncastle

Thomas was born in September 1872 in Mile End, Middlesex and his christening took place on August 28th, 1872 in St Philip the Apostle, Stepney.¹² Thomas' father was James Raphael Horncastle and his mother was Maria Thompson. His paternal grandparents were Thomas James Horncastle and Elizabeth Ritchie. He had three brothers named James, Benjamin and Alfred. He was the second youngest of the four children. He had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named John, James, Elizabeth, Emma and Mary.
