James Robert Horncastle

James was born in 1867 in Mile End, Middlesex.¹

James' father was James Raphael Horncastle and his mother was Maria Thompson. His paternal grandparents were Thomas James Horncastle and Elizabeth Ritchie. He had three brothers named Benjamin, Thomas and Alfred. He was the oldest of the four children. He had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named John, James, Elizabeth, Emma and Mary. He died at the age of 88 on March 14th, 1955 in Hackney, Middlesex.²
