Catherine Horncastle

Catherine was born on September 10th, 1909 in Stepney, Middlesex.¹ Catherine's father was Thomas Horncastle and her mother was Mary Ann Clipson. Her paternal grandparents were James Raphael Horncastle and Maria Thompson. She had two brothers and six sisters, named Thomas, George, Mary, Eleanor, Violet, Hannah, Annie and Beatrice. She was the fourth youngest of the nine children.
