Beatrice Horncastle

Beatrice was born on July 6th, 1916 in St George in the East, Middlesex.¹ Beatrice's father was Thomas Horncastle and her mother was Mary Ann Clipson. Her paternal grandparents were James Raphael Horncastle and Maria Thompson. She had two brothers and six sisters, named Thomas, George, Mary, Eleanor, Violet, Hannah, Catherine and Annie. She was the youngest of the nine children.
