Andrew Thomson 
Andrew was born on February 9th, 1840 in Edinburgh.1 Andrew's father was Archibald Thomson and his mother was Margaret Girdwood. His paternal grandparents were Archibald Thomson and Alison Smeal. He had seven brothers and a sister, named Archibald, Claud, James, Edward, John, Andrew, Hugh and Jessie. He was the second youngest of the nine children. He died at just 9 days old on February 18th, 1840 in Edinburgh.1
