Jean Shaw 
Jean was born on May 29th, 1781 in Kilsyth.1 2 Jean's father was Alexander Shaw and her mother was Jean Tennant. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Shaw and Christian Kirkwood; her maternal grandparents were James Tennant and Jean Shaw. She had eight brothers and three sisters, named Robert, James, David, William, Alexander, James, John, Thomas, Jean, Christian and Isobel. She was the sixth youngest of the twelve children. She died due to natural causes or old age, General debility, at the age of 74 on August 27th, 1855 in Kilsyth. She was buried in Kilsyth.1 1 - Death Notes
