James Robertson

James was born in 1844 in Prestwick.¹²

Birth Notes
- born between 9-apr-1844 and 1-apr-1845 (according to '51 and '61, '81 census) in Prestwick, Ayrshire, Scotland.

James' father was James Robertson and his mother was Ann McMurran. His paternal grandparents were William Robertson and Elspeth Thomson; his maternal grandparents were Jonathon McMurren and Susan McAllan. He had five brothers and two sisters, named William, John, David, George, Jonathan, Mary and Annie. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He had two half-sisters named Susan and Catharine. He died due to a respiratory problem and/or pneumonia, Chronic Bronchitis, 2 years, at the age of 69 on January 25th, 1913 in Yoker.³
