David Robertson

David was born in 1842 in Prestwick.¹²

David's father was James Robertson and his mother was Ann McMurran. His paternal grandparents were William Robertson and Elspeth Thomson; his maternal grandparents were Jonathon McMurren and Susan McAllan. He had five brothers and two sisters, named William, John, James, George, Jonathan, Mary and Annie. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He had two half-sisters named Susan and Catharine. He died due to a medical problem, Cholera, duration 18 hours, at the age of 32 on August 21st, 1874 in Glasgow.³
